At a conference, an open house or a long day of meetings, you may end up with many files, or one very long one. Juno can turn that into one event, split into separate conversations.
Combine a day into one event
If a day has several recordings, the recording page says This day has N more recordings and offers Combine this day into one event.
Click Combine this day into one event
Confirm with Combine
It takes a minute or two.
Every file keeps its audio, and you can undo it.
Split into conversations
For a long recording with many people, Juno may say Sounds like an event with many people. Choose Split into conversations, or Not an event.
Juno cuts the transcript by topic into Conversations, each with a time and a topic. It takes about half a minute per hour of audio.
Under Who was this?, Juno suggests the names it heard in each conversation. Save a name and that person is added to your people.
Importing a transcript from an event? Tick This was an event with many people before you import.
You can also ask on WhatsApp: “make today one event”.
