Do I need the pen?
No. Juno works with recordings from your phone or computer, WhatsApp voice notes, Plaud, Pocket, or any audio file or transcript you import. It’s better with the pen: it’s always with you, one press starts it, and it hears the whole room.

It depends where you are. Many places, Florida and California among them, need everyone’s permission. Juno asks you to confirm everyone agreed before it processes a recording, so asking becomes part of the habit.
How is Juno different from Plaud or Pocket?
How is Juno different from Plaud or Pocket?
Plaud and Pocket are recorders that give you notes. Juno is the assistant that was in the room: it texts you after on WhatsApp, offers to add the meeting someone mentioned, reminds you of what you promised, briefs you before the next one, and does tasks when you ask in the chat. It works with your Plaud and Pocket recordings too.

Usually a few minutes after the recording arrives. They land in the app and your inbox, and back in WhatsApp if you sent it there.

It transcribes English, Spanish, Portuguese and many other languages. The app, the emails and WhatsApp work in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Notes come back in the language you spoke unless you pick another in Settings → Profile.

Recording is unlimited on every plan, with a fair-use limit of 100 hours a month. It resets on the 1st. If you go over, your uploads wait and go through when the month resets.

Each file can be up to 50 MB after your browser compresses it. Try Chrome, which compresses big files. If it’s still too big, split it into parts. See Upload recordings.

Fix it in the Who’s who panel on the Transcript tab, then click Update notes with these names. See Who’s who. To help Juno spell names right every time, add them under Names and terms to spell right in Settings → Profile.

Reply STOP, or switch off message types in Settings → WhatsApp → Messages from Juno. Juno never texts first outside 7:30 to 20:00 your time, and at most 3 times a day. See Quiet hours and STOP.

No. Juno asks before it acts on what it heard. Anything that deletes, changes your calendar or sends something to someone else needs your yes first.

Yes, any time, in Settings → Billing. Monthly plans can also be paused for 30, 60 or 90 days. See Cancel or pause.

Only you. Recordings are private to your account and never sold. Delete one and it’s gone, including the transcription service’s copy.

Audio files are deleted 90 days after upload. The transcript and notes stay. To keep the audio, click Keep this audio in the last 5 days. See Audio deletion.
