Go to Settings → Your Pen Settings. Every choice saves on its own. Juno writes your settings onto the pen the next time you connect it in Chrome or Edge on a computer. If the pen is plugged in right now, you’ll see Saved to your pen. Unplug it to apply. See Connect your pen.

The starting microphone choice

Until you change it, the microphone setting follows your profile. For example, students who record lectures start on Soft voices or far away, because they sit rows away from the speaker. Everyone else starts on Normal.
Using Safari or a phone? You can still change these settings. They’re applied the next time you connect the pen in Chrome or Edge. Or edit the pen settings file by hand.
