# Quiet hours, STOP and START

> Juno only texts at sensible times, and stops whenever you say so.

## Quiet hours

Juno only messages you first between **7:30 and 20:00** your local time, and **at most 3 times a day**, at least an hour apart. If several things come up at once, they go in one message.

Juno works out your time zone from what you tell it, your browser, or your phone number. To set it yourself, text "my time zone is Santiago" or similar.

<Note>
  Reminders you set yourself arrive at the time you asked, even outside quiet hours.
</Note>

## Stop messages

Reply **STOP** and Juno stops messaging you first. You can still text Juno and it will still answer.

Also works: **para**, **parar**, **basta**, **pare**, **sair**, **detener**, **unsubscribe**.

To stop just one kind, send for example **stop morning brief**.

## Start again

Reply **START**.

Also works: **empezar**, **activar**, **iniciar**, **reanudar**, **começar**, **voltar**, **ativar**.

You can also use the switches in **Settings → WhatsApp → Messages from Juno**.
