# Event days and conferences

> Turn a long day of conversations into one event, split by who you talked to.

At a conference, an open house or a long day of meetings, you may end up with many files, or one very long one. Juno can turn that into one event, split into separate conversations.

## Combine a day into one event

If a day has several recordings, the recording page says **This day has N more recordings** and offers **Combine this day into one event**.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Click Combine this day into one event" />

  <Step title="Confirm with Combine">
    It takes a minute or two.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Every file keeps its audio, and you can undo it.

## Split into conversations

For a long recording with many people, Juno may say **Sounds like an event with many people.** Choose **Split into conversations**, or **Not an event**.

Juno cuts the transcript by topic into **Conversations**, each with a time and a topic. It takes about half a minute per hour of audio.

Under **Who was this?**, Juno suggests the names it heard in each conversation. Save a name and that person is added to your people.

<Tip>
  Importing a transcript from an event? Tick **This was an event with many people** before you import.
</Tip>

You can also ask on WhatsApp: "make today one event".
