# Combine and split recordings

> Join parts of one meeting, or separate them again.

## Long pen recordings join on their own

The pen saves long recordings as several files. When the times line up, Juno joins them into one meeting by itself. If it's not sure, you'll see **Join into one meeting**.

## Combine recordings yourself

  You can only combine recordings that are already transcribed. The sample can't be combined.

## Separate them again

On a combined recording, choose **Separate them again**.

## Split one recording into conversations

For a recording of 10 minutes or more, choose **Split into conversations**. See [Event days and conferences](/recordings/event-days).

## Rename or delete a recording

* **Rename:** click the title and type a new one.
* **Delete:** click **More**, then **Delete**, then confirm. This deletes the audio too, and can't be undone.
