# What we store

> What Juno keeps, who helps us run it, and what we never do.

This page is a plain-English summary. The [Privacy policy](https://www.tryjunoapp.com/pen/privacy) is the full version.

## What we keep, and for how long

| What | How long |
| - | - |
| Transcripts, notes, to-dos and people | Until you delete them, or your account |
| Audio files you upload | 90 days, unless you choose **Keep this audio**. See [Audio deletion](/privacy/audio-deletion). |
| Audio you send on WhatsApp | Not kept in our file storage. We keep the transcript and notes. |
| WhatsApp messages you send us | With your account, until you ask us to delete them |
| Billing records | As long as tax law requires |

When you delete a recording, we remove it, its notes, its audio and its transcript.

## Who helps us

We share data with these providers only so they can do their job for us:

* **Supabase**: database and file storage
* **AssemblyAI**: transcription and translation
* **Anthropic**: the AI that writes notes, answers questions and drafts emails
* **Meta**: WhatsApp, if you use it
* **Sendblue**: iMessage, if you use it
* **Google**: sign-in, and Calendar, Docs and Sheets if you connect them
* **Notion**: if you connect it
* **Stripe**: payments
* **Resend**: email delivery
* **Vercel**: hosting

Most of them are in the United States, so your data is mainly processed there.

## What we never do

* We don't train AI models of our own on your recordings.
* We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
* We don't use your calendar data to train AI models.

<Warning>
  AI makes mistakes. Check notes and answers before you rely on them.
</Warning>

## Recording other people

Your recordings usually include other people. You are responsible for getting their permission where the law requires it. In many places, everyone in the conversation must agree. Juno asks you to confirm consent before it processes a recording.

Juno Pen is not for health records covered by HIPAA.
